Objectives:

  • To understand the concept of a food supply chain;
  • To be able to apply the concept of a food supply chain to certain types of food;
  • To grasp the concept of different ways of production and critically assess which one is the most sustainable;
  • To understand the concept of local production and assess advantages to livestock and environment;
  • To begin to understand the concept of Global Trade and Fair Trade.
