Film Festival “Sustainable Challenges”

Films can often encapsulate and project ideas in a way that words and discussions are limited. The actors in the films can be associated and empathized and that is why projects concerned with awareness raising utilize this medium more often than not.

CARDET in the framework of the project Global Campus (‘Students for Social Justice’) is proud to announce the Film Festival “Sustainable Challenges” with the collaboration of University of Monday, European University Cyprus and Social Work Club the screening of 4 documentaries that portray big Social Challenges which are sustained and common all over the world, thus bridging local experiences with the vague global.

The Film festival plans to be an educative venture by providing access to discussion after the movie with academics and the directors of the movies (where possible)
